In a village where people depend on rainfall for their gardens to furnish food for the family, children can be vulnerable to undernourishment if rain fall is scarce. As a consistent means of providing nourishment for growing brains and bodies, St. Marc’s School offers a school lunch for students 8-10 days a month on the current budget of $2000 a month.  A simple meal of beans and rice is prepared in the school kitchen by local women and distributed to the classrooms.   If you would like to assist with this program, please visit our “Donate” page and select “School Lunches” from the designated funds drop-down menu.
