Jeannette has a clinic run by nurses and health care workers.  Due to a successful fundraising campaign by

dedicated volunteers, a doctor has been funded to serve the clinic 5 days a month.  Dr. Elie St. Martin has

already demonstrated his devotion to serving in the St. Marc’s health clinic by supporting local families

when they have had to seek specialized care in Port au Prince or Fond des Blanc.

Former St. Marc student Margarette is now a nurse a the clinic.

An annual medical and dental trip allows access to doctors who assess, treat and prescribe medications for common conditions. Medicine is dispensed at the clinic’s pharmacy. An American dentist works alongside a Haitian dentist, and together they extract diseased teeth.  In April 2017, the health team worked with Gift of Water on a health education day including dental hygene, water purification, hand-washing and latrine use as well as specialized talks for adolescent girls led by Lucie Merzier, who will gradutate from FSIL in Leogone with a degree in nursing.

The clinic provides triage for patients who require more advanced medical care.  These patients may be transferred to St. Croix Hospital in nearby Leogane.
